Marilyn Satter, Professional OrganizerMarilyn Satter - Houston, Texas

As a business owner I have found that being organized is one of the biggest keys to one’s success. Unfortunately, being organized isn’t always easy and for some people, myself included, it may not come naturally. Many of the systems I use with my clients, I set up for my home, my businesses and for others along the way—I am constantly in search of a better way to be and stay organized. Years ago, working in business offices, I found that people had a real need for someone to come in and “clean house” so to speak and were delighted to let me help them become more organized.

I was amazed at the reactions and level of satisfaction I saw in people when they could finally see the forest for the trees! I realized that what I was doing was actually freeing people from, not only their clutter, but from frustration, stress and chaos. I have a knack for seeing through the clutter and visualizing the “final product”. I’m able to help people achieve their goals and find more time for themselves and their families.

Suzanne Collins - San Francisco, California

Teaching special education, working in television news and raising a family have built my organizing tool kit.  Teaching taught me how to create an individual plan of action for each student's special needs.  Working as a videotape editor taught me another key organizational skill, finding the essence of the story and cutting away the distracting details.  Becoming the first Edit Supervisor at CNN Headline News taught me the basics of organizing a workplace so all my editors had what they needed to get the story on the air ASAP.  Raising a son with learning disabilities and ADHD showed me that helping someone become more organized can enrich their daily life and was very rewarding for me as well.

Consulting with Marilyn during the start up of "Organize My World" I discovered how much my love of organizing and decorating were critical parts of what her goals were.  After some education and training, I joined her company; and now we're ready to organize your world from Houston to San Francisco.

I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
